skilled therapists extensive gardens spacious room
The staff were helpful, but not overbearing. i enjoyed the spa treatments. The therapists were skilled. the gardens are extensive. I enjoyed a walk towards the river thames. the queen charlotte room was spacious.
the main rooms felt dark because it was february and overcast.

i stayed in a club double room. the grounds are extensive and perfect for long walks. every staff member i encountered was cute and helpful.
the breakfast juice i poured myself, while other guests had theirs poured tableside. the poached eggs i ordered were overdone. i had to ask twice for decaffeinated tea.

bathroom fixtures dust accumulation
The service fell short of expectations for a hotel of this caliber. I had to request assistance multiple times for basic amenities. the upkeep in some areas requires attention. The bathroom fixtures showed signs of wear, and I found dust accumulation in corners. These details detract from the overall luxury experience one anticipates at this price point.

hairdryer problem poor view
I found some issues . The bathroom lacked a plug for the hairdryer. I needed to unplug the tv to dry my hair. The view from my corner room was onto the parking area, which WASN'T ideal. Tourists walked past daily, impacting privacy.

slow service orange mould
The facial at the spa was lovely. Imogen has magic fingers. It left my skin glowing.
The hotel did not meet my expectations regarding service. We arrived at the gate, but the registration plate was not recognized. I buzzed four times, but there was no response. The service was slow and lacked attentiveness. The rubber seal on the bath shower screen had an orange mould from lack of cleaning.

inviting study kind host delicious biscuits
the study was very inviting. a very kind host gave us the history of the room and lit the fire. staff returned with chocolates and biscuits for children.
the spa massages were fine but the website hides the extra service charge.
